Love is Unemcumbered Perception

To love, is to

see

hear

feel

be

so present with another

that the layers of 

societal conditioning

 and self loathing

and expectation 

suddenly disappear

and all you are left with

is the True Essence

dazzling and bewildered and exposed

your deepest bits of self on full display

no where to hide, no reason to hide

(unless you want to play hide and seek

with my inner child,

I'd be down for that).

And there, in that moment

of complete vulnerability and

 unencumbered perception, 

perhaps Love is all that's left.
